Carol Coronis CD cover

Sidewalk meets Steelqueen–Carol Coronis, host of Aegean Connection and The Ceili Show, will be playing at Portsmouth Book and Bar this Thursday evening, April 26 at 8:00 with Tom Richter (of the band The Sidewalk Boys) as the regional roots duo performs songs from their upcoming EP “Sweet Trudelane.” Expect earthy roots with a rock edge and a lot of fun from this banjo and cittern team. Chuck Coronis will be rounding out the band on dumbek.  Carol will be playing her dad’s 1935 National Steel guitar-turned-cittern–it was her dad’s first guitar and has been transformed into a 10-string cittern by designer and luthier Steve Rowley of York.
